The Bauer Nexus Havok Senior Hockey Skate provides a volume fit with additional room built in the skate for players with wider feet and high insteps. This years Havok will feature a 3-D fiber composite quarter package, for a lightweight boot that wont compromise on performance. The outsole has also been upgraded to a full composite material, increasing rigidity and energy transfer.
The Neuxs Havok will also feature Bauer's patented HYDRA MAX 2 liner found on the 2N skate, which is designed to wick away moisture and keep your feet a lot cooler. This liner encases lightweight memory foam in the ankle region and a thermoformable upper for elite level comfort.
The tongue on the Nexus Havok has also been upgraded a Form-Fit 2 piece 48oz felt tongue with a high density reinforced metatarsal guard. This will increase comfort and protection, while providing more forward flex.
The Bauer Havok will continue to have the TUUK Lightspeed Edge holder for easy blade changes, paired with the Black Oxidized LS3 runner. The black steel is going to hold a edge longer, while reducing corrosion, not to mention, it looks amazing with the black and blue color way of the Nexus line.
The Bauer Nexus Havok 2018 Senior Skates are a Source Exclusive model based off of the Bauer N2900 skates with added performance upgrades from the 2N and an exclusive black oxidized LS3 runner. The Nexus line of skates from Bauer provide a volume fit with additional room built in the skate for players with wider feet and high insteps.
