The Bauer Supreme Matrix Junior skate keeps true to the fit of the Supreme line by providing an anatomical and snug fit. The quarter package has been upgraded to Fiber Composite material for increased stiffness and weight reduction. This construction uses anatomical thermoforming and when heated, the skate is formed giving the player a true 360-degree custom fit.

Bauer has upgraded the outsole to a full composite material, which is the same one that can be found on the 2S Pro skates. The addition of vent holes will help drain moisture, keeping the boot as light as possible.

The liner has been upgraded to the same LOCK-FIT liner found in the 2S with the addition of wear patches. This will help secure your foot while wicking moisture and keeping your feet dry. This will combine with memory foam ankle pads for a comfortable skate right out of the box.

The skate will also feature the same 3-piece tongue found on the 2S. The Matrix will use a black reflex 48oz tongue with an injected metatarsal guard.

The Matrix will continue to have the TUUK Lightspeed Edge holder for easy blade changes, but this year Bauer will be introducing there all new Black Oxidized LS3 runner. The black steel is going to hold a edge longer, while reducing corrosion, not to mention, it looks amazing with the black and yellow color way of the Supreme line.

The Bauer Supreme Matrix 2018 Junior Skates are a Source Exclusive model based off of the Bauer S29 skates with added performance upgrades from the 2S and an exclusive black oxidized LS3 runner.
